BBC Radio Stations

The Pure 1500 is designed to receive the full range of DAB services broadcast in the UK, including radio stations from the BBC and independent commercial radio operators.

The BBC is currently broadcasting the following services on national digital radio (DAB). The Pure PocketDAB 1500 will automatically scan and store the stations that are available within range.

BBC Radio 1
The best new music and entertainment.

BBC Radio 2
BBC Radio 2, the most listened-to station in the UK.

BBC Radio 3
Classical, jazz and world music, drama and arts.

BBC Radio 4
The home of intelligent speech radio.

BBC Radio 5
The home of live news and live sport.

5 Live Sports Extra
Five Live Sports Extra is on air whenever the BBC wishes to cover a sporting event which is not scheduled elsewhere on its networks.

BBC 6 Music
BBC 6 Music mixes contemporary and classic artists, plus new talent, and draws on the BBC's 40 years of archive material.

BBC 7
BBC 7 features classic and new comedy, drama, books and children's programmes.

Radio 1Xtra
Radio 1Xtra focuses on the best of black music from both sides of the Atlantic including Hip Hop, R'n'B, Drum & Bass and Dancehall.
Asian Network

Broadcasting a mix of contemporary speech and music. Its tone and content reflects issues that matter to British Asians.

World Service
BBC's international radio station.

These stations are broadcast on the BBC network. Channel number 12B, frequency 225.648 MHz in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
